What Wax Do You Use? 
Our candles are made from soy wax that I locally source.

Why Soy Wax? 

Soy wax is made from soybeans, not only making them a safe and natural alternative to petroleum-based paraffin, but also renewable and biodegradable. By buying soy wax products, not only are you helping to support soybean farmers, but you’re also ensuring that the newest addition to your home decor burns clean and won’t detract from your air quality.

Are Alchemist Flame Candles Vegan?

Absolutely! If you abstain from using animal products, then you might find candle shopping to be a frustrating endeavor. So many types of candles use animal products! Beeswax comes from the hives of beeves, tallow comes from the fat of animals, and some wax even comes from whales or dolphins. Soy candles are 100% vegan and do not require any animal products in their production or use. After weeks of research, I was able to also source a local candle shop supplier that makes vegan candle dye! Therefore, even our coloured candles are vegan too.

Are Your Candles Scented?

Absolutely. Not sure what scents we carry? Check out our exclusive luxury Scent List. If you do not want your candles scented, no problem! Just choose 'non-scented' as an option.

What is the White Spots/Frosting?
As soy wax is natural, it can get a 'frosting' look to it as we are making them. It's normal for soy wax to do this and it does not affect your candle at all. We love it, purely because no body is perfect & we want our candles to reflect that & show that even with spots they are absolutely beautiful just like you are!

How Do I Order?

You can simply place your order from our shop page 

Simply choose your candles, scent & add to cart. Follow the prompts to complete the purchase. If you wish to not pay with pay-pal or credit card, simply email Alchemist your desired order or Instagram message.

What Form of Payment Do You Accept?

We currently accept Credit Card, PayPal via our web shop.

If you happened to do an order through Instagram or email we accept Etransfer.

How Long Will It Take For Me To Receive My Order?

Since all our candles are hand poured & handcrafted, it takes about 5-7 days. Most candle shops do not cure their candles (max 48 hours). However, at Alchemist Flames I like to cure my candles for 4-5 days. Why is that? Soy wax is very difficult to work with. In order to have a really good burn & smell throw back I like to cure my candles for almost a week, so that the soy wax bonds properly with the dye or scent for immaculate results.

 

 

Is Your Packaging Eco-Friendly?
YES! The crinkle, box, rope twine & re-usable bag are all recyclable & Eco-friendly. In addition, Alchemist Flame sources all our packaging from a local packaging company.
